So, just 2 (1.5?) more weeks until I'm off from school for A WHOLE MONTH. I'm so excited, because it's about the same until my sister ~Scream-for-the-Stars comes home too. If I finish one of my papers before it's due (which I plan to) I'll be out just a few hours before she comes home. Very excited.

Also, Christmas is right around the corner, meaning there are plenty of Christmas movies and carols to keep me at least somewhat sane and happy as I get ready for finals and finish up last minute projects. I will hopefully have some new artwork to post because I'm planning on giving some as gifts. I have at least 3 things to add now from Spring that I recently found pictures of, but I'm hoping to also have soem more current stuff soon.

Wow, I feel talkative right now... I blame the Christmas spirit, lack of sleep, procrastination of homework and the (rather upbeat) An Cafe CD I'm listening to now. I recently re-discovered them and L'Arc~En~Ciel. They put me in such a good mood ^^

Well, that's all that's going on with me right now I guess. Back to homework...

So, yes, as I'm sure you've guessed based on the title, I've recently started college. I've been busy over the summer getting ready and now that I've finally gotten here I'm still pretty booked. I'm a little disappointed in myself for not drawing more when I did have time over the summer, but oh well.

So, anyway, school's still school, even though I now live here and am taking fewer classes than in high school. Still procrastinating with homework and wishing I didn't have to sit through the mandatory classes. Adjusting to campus life and meeting so many new people is kind of stressful, but it's getting better. I keep doing the "crap I forgot this" thing, but at least now it's nothing really important.

Other than that, life's been okay. I'm a little depressed because the leader of one of my favorite artists, 2PM (Korean boy band...yeah, I'm a dork ) left the band yesterday because of some controversy when they were about a month away from releasing a new album. Well, at least there still ARE other members and the band didn't split completely like Phantasmagoria did a few months after I got into them...maybe I should stop listening to foreign music and stick to my English artists...2PM and Mago (who were Japanese) aren't the only foreign bands that got messed up somehow only months after I found them...

Anyway, I'm going to try finishing up some of the projects I'm working on now (or at least getting farther on them) and typing this journal isn't helping me get any farther, now is it? And so, later!

So, how's life? I know I probably should've updated before now. It's been 2 months since my last one... But really, there hasn't been much interesting going on. School ended, exams are over, etc. That took up a lot of my time until last week. Also, my sister's home for the summer (well, she's been home for a while now) so I've been hanging out with her, and my whole family's been watching Dead Like Me recently. Weird kind of humor, but I like it.

Artwise, I've made a few more pieces I'd like to upload, but I haven't gotten around to it (been using the laptop recently, so no scanner). Three of them go together, so I wanted to wait until they were all finished before uploading. But since I've slowed down on drawing and gotten into a reading mood, I'm considering just uploading the two that are finished and then the third one later. I really should finish a few others and upload them, too.

Now that I have more time, I hope I can catch up with the stuff I want to put up. I also really want to work on my freehand style because I haven't been too satisfied with much that I've done recently. The only stuff I really like are the three pictures that go together, but they're portraits I made from closely following reference pictures, not freehand.

Well, I guess that's all. Nothing big, but I'm finally enjoying a break.

Yup so today's my birthday. I'm going out to a movie with my parents and then we're going to a Chinese buffet with my friends and I think some relatives might be meeting us there. I don't know.

And then, when I get home, I get to write an essay for my AP Bio class! Yay! My teacher for some reason decided it would be a good idea to give my class an extra long homework assignment and a take home test with two essays instead of our usual one to do over vacation. I'm not too happy about it in case you couldn't tell.

Anyway, sorry I haven't been doing much on here recently but I've been really busy with schoolwork and the Olympics of the Visual Arts. It's only 9 days away now and my team is starting to freak out 'cause we've still got a ton to do. I'll try to update after it's over (hopefully I'll have some pictures to share ).

Lots of new stuff today. I had planned to put up 2-3 pictures I'd made over the past couple of weeks, and then found another 4 that I'd forgotten to upload, 3 of which were already scanned. And one of the one's I'd planned on putting up I couldn't find. I really have to get better at uploading things once I make them so this doesn't happen...

Anyway, I've been in a creative mood recently, so I'll probably be uploading more sometime soon ("probably" being the keyword). Hopefully I'll find the picture I can't find, as well as the pictures from Genericon so I can show off my cosplay . I just have to ask my dad where they are... Also, I made a hoodie recently and I'm currently working on a Valentine's picture, so hopefully I'll have pictures to show.
